HISASHI AOCH (TRONIC /SPECTRA /soO)
He has been DJing and performing since 2009. He made his debue with "Torque" in 2014, an Osaka-based label released by Ben Sims and Dave Clarke, that has supported Ben Klock, Alan Fitzpatrick, and Truncate in coming to Japan.
Since 2017, he has been a resident DJ at CLUB METRO's regular party "seQuence.", and has been bringing a wide range of dance music in Kyoto, where he was born, influenced by French electronic music together with his contemporaries. He has brought in next generation of originators with express diverse music as guests, making it into its popular weekend party spot.

At the end of 2019, he formed the collective "soO" together with the promoter sintaro fujita, with whom he had collaborated on "seQuence.", and CeeeSTee. CeeeSTee also produces for CLUB METRO. In the midst of the difficult situation caused by COVID-19, they released a split EP called "session 00". To celebrate its launch, they hosted a global virtual party from Kyoto.

In 2020, he won the Grand Prix in the SPECTRA label competition, which is run by Hiroyuki Arakawa, a producer supported by Frank Muller, Takkyu Ishino, and KEN ISHII. He appeared as a special guest at CIRCUS TOKYO, and was featured in BARKS and other domestic media, as well as Spain's Mossaic Magazine.

After that, he won the first prize in the Drunken Kong remix contest, which was held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Tronic, a Swedish label run by Christian Smith. He beat more than 300 entries. He experienced his first international release, and was featured in Beatport's "Week End Pick 100" and "Electronica Top 100 Chart", and Juno Records' "Recommends TECHNO" together with works by Charlotte de Witte, Kölsch, and Joseph Capriati. He has also been featured in Mixmag Japan, J-Wave's TOKYO MAAD SPIN, and GH Streaming.
He also performed an exclusive DJ set on Tronic Radio which Christian Smith called "Very different taste."

He has worked as a composer and sound engineer, providing music for films and commercials, and as an editor, writing and supervising articles on dance music.
